We've been busy shipping improvements to the Seatsurfing platform over the past few weeks. Alongside numerous bug fixes and smaller enhancements, we've rolled out several features that focus on giving users more personal control and administrators more flexibility.

Here are the most important updates:

⚙️ New personal settings: week start and email language

Users can now fine-tune two more preferences directly from their settings page. You can choose which day your week starts on and set a dedicated language for the emails Seatsurfing sends you, independent of your interface language.

📝 Markdown support for location descriptions and attributes

Administrators can now use Markdown syntax when writing location descriptions, as well as when defining space and location attributes. This makes it much easier to add structure, links, or emphasis.

📧 Direct links to settings in system emails

Automated emails sent by Seatsurfing now include a link straight to the user's settings page, so recipients can adjust their notification preferences right from the email that prompted them to think about it.

⏰ Reminder emails for upcoming bookings

Seatsurfing now sends a reminder email 24 hours before a booking starts, so you're less likely to forget about a desk or room you've reserved.

📊 More filters for "Bookings by weekday"

The "Bookings by weekday" report now includes filters for location and evaluation period, making it easier to drill down into booking patterns for a specific site or timeframe.

🔤 Adjustable font size for spaces

Administrators can now adjust the font size used for spaces, giving more control over how labels and numbers are displayed on space plans.

⌨️ Keyboard navigation in the booking overview

You can now use the arrow keys to navigate the booking overview, making it quicker to move between days without reaching for the mouse.

🌍 Professional plan now available in more non-EU countries

We've expanded the availability of our Professional plan to three additional non-EU countries: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway. Organizations in these countries can now sign up for Professional directly, with the same features and support our EU customers already enjoy.
