If your team already lives in Confluence, booking a desk shouldn't mean switching tools. That's why we've rebuilt our Seatsurfing for Confluence from the ground up. The new version is available now on the Atlassian Marketplace — and it's free.
🔑 Much simpler setup: automatic login
The biggest improvement is how easy the integration has become. Confluence users are now logged into Seatsurfing automatically, based on their email address. No separate sign-in, no extra configuration.
Getting started takes just a few steps:
- Install the app from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Add the Seatsurfing macro to a Confluence page.
- Make sure a Seatsurfing account exists for each user's Confluence email address.
That's it. When your colleagues open the page, they see the Seatsurfing booking interface right inside Confluence and can book a desk or meeting room without ever leaving the page.
💸 Free of charge
The app itself is free. Just install it and connect it to your Seatsurfing organization.
☁️ Available for Seatsurfing Cloud
Please note that the Confluence integration is a Cloud-only feature. It works with organizations hosted on Seatsurfing Cloud; it's not available for self-hosted Seatsurfing installations.
🧩 Built on Atlassian Forge
The new app is based on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian's current platform for cloud apps. Forge apps are the way forward for apps in the Atlassian ecosystem.
